MY NAME IS WADE.
In 2012 I couldn't stand it anymore, barely scratching by a living and getting chewed down on pricing by ungrateful customers. Just after the 08-09 recession we had pivoted from design build landscape construction firm to servicing sprinkler systems (like a plumber but for the lawn sprinklers). We were charging hourly and fighting for every penny, all the while being worked down on our prices by ungrateful, cheap, stingy clients!
Something HAD TO change or it was lights out. We took the next 3 months and scoured everything we could about business operations and best practice companies, but NO ONE had a “Sprinkler Service Company” solution. So we had to take what we had learned and adapt our business.
That year we changed everything about our value presentation, pricing, and work order processes. We moved to flat rate pricing and got rid of hourly pricing. We changed how we answered the phone and how we dressed.
Our ticket average doubled almost overnight. I remember when I received a $585 check from a client for a ticket that would have been only $156 just a month earlier and she left me a 5 STAR REVIEW! I had charged over 300% more and had a satisfied customer excited to use our company again!
Since that summer we grew our service team from myself and 3 techs to over 15 techs. We now have over 700 reviews with a 4.7 rating and generate over 2 million dollars a year in revenue.
The best part, my Technicians are the highest paid Sprinkler Techs in the nation.

One of my old techs started his own gig and I helped him create a sales process that weeded out the tire kickers and kept him in front of his ideal client.
